Lars Hille to leave the DZ BANK Board of Managing Directors
Lars Hille has informed the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Helmut Gottschalk, of his wish to surrender his position on the DZ BANK AG Board of Managing Directors upon expiry of his contract on 14 October 2017 in order to pursue new professional challenges.
“We have accepted the decision of Lars Hille with considerable regret, but at the same time also with respect for his future personal plans. All the more so because Wolfgang Kirsch and I agree in our assessment that Lars Hille – who has worked for a total of 18 years at DZ BANK, almost ten of which were spent on the Board of Managing Directors – contributed significantly to today’s successful positioning of the DZ BANK Group and its reputation, especially within the cooperative financial network. We are very grateful to him for this,” says Helmut Gottschalk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DZ BANK.
Lars Hille joined DZ BANK AG from Deutsche Börse AG in 1998 and has been a Member of the Board of Managing Directors since 2007. His responsibilities include the Capital Markets business with the divisions Research and Economics, Trading and Retail Clients Securities Business, and supervising the cooperative banks in Bavaria, the Sparda Banks and PSD Banks. Within the DZ BANK Group, he is in charge of the Retail Clients Product & Sales Committee. Lars Hille also holds mandates such as the DZ PRIVATBANK and TeamBank (easycredit) Supervisory Board Chairs, as well as positions on the Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall and Union Investment supervisory boards.
