Jan Holthusen succeeds Stefan Bielmeier as Head of DZ BANK Research - Michael Holstein will take over as new Chief Economist
Dr. Jan Holthusen (57) will succeed Stefan Bielmeier as Head of the Research and Economics Division of DZ BANK on January 1, 2021. Stefan Bielmeier will join the Board of Managing Directors of DZ PRIVATBANK at the turn of the year. Up until now, Jan Holthusen has headed the Fixed Income department and in his new role, he will be responsible for the strategic direction of the division and for all DZ BANK's economic and financial market forecasts.
Dr. Michael Holstein (55) will take over the position of Chief Economist at DZ BANK. As Head of the Economics Department, he and his team produce economic forecasts, sector analyses, economic policy analyses and opinion contributions.
DZ BANK's research is extremely important for the cooperative banks when advising their customers. Numerous awards and broad public awareness are proof of the high quality of the work performed each day by a team of around 85 analysts in the Research division.
